Dr. Chris Moen - CRF PresidentDr. Christopher Moen is a physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware. He attended Princeton University for undergraduate studies, majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He then attended medical school at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine followed by residency training in emergency medicine at Christiana Care Health System. Throughout his career, Dr. Moen has been involved with Choroideremia research, working as a laboratory research assistant for Dr. Jean Bennett. He has been involved with the Choroideremia Research Foundation since 2007, serving on the Board of Directors for several years and now as President. Dr. Moen’s experience as a physician scientist combined with his understanding of life as a patient with Choroideremia bring a unique perspective to the Science Advisory Board.
