CureCHM and Accessibility

CureCHM has become more intentional about diversity, equity and inclusion and how to enhance these core values as we promote our mission.

Website accessibility is part of that effort. CureCHM has partnered with web accessibility market leader accessiBe to strengthen the relationship with the disability community through education, awareness, technology and training.

accessiBe is a technology solution that can transform a website into a fully compliant and easily navigable page, allowing you to adjust and optimize certain features according to a person’s specific needs.

How to use the accesswidget by accessiBe

From CureCHM’s website, you can access the accessibility tools by clicking on the blue circle icon with the universal symbol for a person, which is located at the bottom left corner of every page. You can adjust settings such as contrast and font size, or choose from one of the preset options:

  • Seizure Safe
  • Vision Impaired
  • Cognitive Disability
  • ADHD Friendly
  • Blind Users
  • Keyboard Navigation (Motor)

If you want to return to the original form of the website, just click the Reset Settings button to clear your changes. Also, the access widget only works when activated, so if you don’t want or need to use these features, then nothing will change.

A great website experience for everyone

We are committed to fostering a barrier-free environment on our website. This technology from accessiBe creates an ADA-compliant website and is always up-to-date with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

If you have visual, auditory, motor or cognitive impairments, the accessiBe tools can help you have a better website experience tailored to your needs. The interface can make changes to the website design, such as fonts, colors and animations, and it is powered by AI technology to improve the experience with a screen reader or keyboard navigation.

accessiBe was built alongside people with disabilities, so you can be assured that its functions and features are built with you in mind.
